The MUNI MP42X series is a compact and lightweight 4-gas detector for worker safety at hazardous locations, with four standard sensors for oxygen (O2, lead-free), combustibles (LEL), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S). Alternative sensors are low-power LEL methane (CH4) by NDIR, sulfur dioxide (SO2), and galvanic oxygen (O2). The sensor options are pre-configured at the factory and cannot be changed by the user. The detector has a robust housing and no moving parts. Its battery runs 20 hrs for a standard 4-gas detector, with extended runtime when using the low-power infrared sensor. The simple, 2-button operation is easy to use and significantly reduces the time spent training the user.
